

Post Edouard the Atlantic Goes Quiet While We Watch for Tropical Moisture in California and the West
What's left of Tropical Storm Edouard is drenching East Texas. The storms winds have decreased, so Edouard is now classified as a tropical depression. On the radar, you can see that it still has an impressive structure so can produce extreme rainfall. Over 20 inches of rain has been reported in some areas where Edouard's leftover bands have stalled along and near the I-45 corridor north of Houston. Rain is falling at up to 5 inches per hour in some locations. Flash flooding
